Certified Residential & Commercial Water Testing

Starting at $350 per Sample

Your water is one of the most important resources your family or business relies on every day. Our lab-grade water testing services provide accurate, reliable laboratory analysis that helps identify contaminants that may affect the safety of your drinking water.

Each sample is professionally collected using proper testing procedures before being transported to a state-certified laboratory, ensuring every sample maintains its integrity from collection to analysis.

Every Water Test Includes Screening For:

Nitrates & Nitrites

Nitrates and nitrites commonly enter groundwater through fertilizer runoff, septic systems, and environmental contamination. Elevated levels may pose serious health risks, particularly for infants and individuals with weakened immune systems.

Lead

Lead is a toxic heavy metal that may enter drinking water through aging plumbing systems or environmental contamination. Even low levels of lead exposure can create long-term health concerns.

E. Coli

The presence of E. coli bacteria indicates that harmful contamination has entered your water supply. Testing for E. coli is especially important for private well owners and properties involved in real estate transactions.

Total Coliform Bacteria

Coliform bacteria serve as an indicator of your water system's overall sanitary condition. A positive coliform test may suggest pathways for additional harmful microorganisms to enter your water supply.

Receiving a failed water test doesn't always mean expensive repairs or replacing your well.

Unlike many water testing companies, Northflow Water Company offers chlorine shock treatment services for private well systems that test positive for contamination.

If your laboratory results identify E. coli or Total Coliform bacteria, we can often begin treatment quickly to help eliminate harmful microorganisms from your well system.

Our Chlorine Shock Process

Our technician carefully introduces a calculated amount of chlorine into your well system based on the size and capacity of the well.

The treatment process includes:

  • Professional well system evaluation

  • Proper chlorine dosage calculation

  • Chlorine injection into the well

  • Four-hour treatment period

  • Complete flushing of the plumbing system

  • Retesting to verify water quality

Because every well is different, some systems may require multiple chlorine shock treatments before laboratory results return negative for bacterial contamination.

We'll explain every step of the process and recommend the best course of action based on your individual results.

what does northflow test for?

2

Our laboratory-grade water testing screens for some of the most common contaminants that may affect the safety of your drinking water, including:

Nitrates, Nitrites, Lead, E. coli, Total Coliform Bacteria

These contaminants can pose health risks and are especially important to test for in private well systems, real estate transactions, and commercial water supplies. Every sample is collected using professional procedures and analyzed by a certified laboratory to ensure accurate, reliable results.

Do you provide water treatment if sample fails?

3

Yes. One of the things that sets Northflow Water Company apart is that we don't simply identify a problem—we help provide a solution.

If your laboratory results indicate bacterial contamination, such as E. coli or Total Coliform, we offer chlorine shock treatments for private well systems. After treatment, we can also perform follow-up water testing to verify that your water meets safe drinking standards.

While many wells respond successfully to a chlorine shock treatment, every well is unique. Depending on the source and severity of the contamination, additional treatments or further recommendations may be necessary.
